The governing body of the network is the General Assembly, which comprises representatives of all paid-up members of the network and convenes at least once every three years, coinciding with the triennial EST Congress.
All decisions taken by at the General Assembly are voted on the basis of one vote per member institution, independent of the size of the member institution. In the case of a tied vote, the Director of the Board of Management has the deciding vote.
Decisions made by the General Assembly should not contravene the articles and spirit of the Constitution of the European Society for Translation Studies.
The General Assembly elects a Board of Management at least once every three years.
